Weddings have changed dramatically over recent years- although plenty of the couples I work with still choose to get married in a church, many prefer a setting which is less traditional. During my years as a wedding DJ I’ve learnt the importance of being flexible, so even if your choice of Oxford venue is a little out of the ordinary I’ll be delighted to bring it to life.
A good wedding DJ should always put the needs of the happy couple first, so Incandescence’s wedding services are all about you. You’ll have the choice of a simple evening disco alone or a full wedding day experience- whatever your requirements, I’ll be delighted to help. Wedding Music and Entertainment

Discrete PA Systems
Large, bulky speakers can be an eyesore that distract from the beauty of your wedding. I provide discrete speakers which can be subtly placed around the venue for clear, crisp sound without taking up space or compromising the style of your Big Day.
Lapel Microphones
Voices can often get lost in large buildings like churches, stately homes and other wedding venues. Discrete lapel mics are a great way to ensure that the entire party can hear you crystal clear as you exchange vows.
Speech recording
when you’re caught up in the whirlwind that is your wedding day, it can be hard to take everything in. I can provide audio recordings of all the speeches so you can listen to them together in the comfort of your marital home and re-live all the laughs, stories and tears as many times as you like.
Mood lighting
The right lighting can do wonders for the overall ambience of your wedding day. Whether your dream wedding calls for atmospheric coloured alcoves and pillars, your names in big, bold lights or anything else you might dream of, I can supply all the illumination you need. The lighting can be altered from day to night and according to mood, music and moment to create a truly unforgettable and atmospheric experience.
Illuminated Dance-floors
What better way to share your first dance than on a beautifully lit floor? With a choice of surfaces (black / white / parquet) and sparkling or static lights, you can guarantee all eyes will be on the two of you as you dance to your special song together.
Hosting/Master of Ceremonies
If you want your wedding day to be a grand affair, there’s few better ways than by having a host to announce the speeches and wedding party. I’ll be delighted to make announcements in the lead up to the wedding breakfast, giving you and your guests that special VIP experience.
Name in Lights
The most popular add-on. Your names or initials with the wedding date and a heart or other decoration can be projected onto the wall or dancefloor. A lovely effect as you walk into the reception venue. After the event, you’ll recieve the custom made “Gobo” (an etched glass disc which the light shines through) to keep for yourselves.
