Musings of a Wedding DJ – Looking ahead to 2017…

This coming Saturday marks the end of my Wedding Season for 2016. As a wedding DJ, April to October can be very busy for me and this year has been a wonderful year, and I’ve had the opportunity to meet and work with some wonderful people, many of whom I now consider good friends. Several venues this year have promised to recommend me to future brides as well, and I find that a huge compliment. Kingston Bagpuize House, Frilford Heath Golf Club, The Perch Oxford and The Crown Inn Pishill are all venues I’ve been in multiple times and the event staff at these venues are wonderful. I look forward to working with them again next year and I’m truly honoured to be one of their recommendations – after all, they see so many DJs & parties each year.

So: To all the Brides & Grooms I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in 2016, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your most special day.

I have an eBook available, called Wedding Day Secrets, written by a good friend and colleague of mine – Derek Pengelly. It’s only 78 pages and will open you eyes to some of the secrets and behind the scenes tricks that can turn a wedding into an amazing day. If you’d like a copy, just click on the book cover below and drop me a line.

In the meantime, with Christmas rapidly approaching (not to mention Halloween, Bonfire night and New Years Eve), it’s time to take a breath, service and test the equipment and get ready for the next wave of Brides & Grooms who want their special day to be memorable for all the right reasons.
